Hosting students is a challenging yet rewarding experience. Tia Rhodes, our Homestay Coordinator, is available every day to help you and answer your questions at Unique New Zealand. Tia regularly sends out homestay newsletters to keep you posted about new information and current issues. Unique New Zealand arranges host family meetings 4 times a year and we hope you will attend. This is a great opportunity to meet Student Advisors and other host families to exchange experiences and to hear about any new rules and regulations we must follow.

Please note our Xmas party will be held on Friday 24/12/10 at 12.00 noon. RSVP for catering purposes by Monday 20/12/10 will be appreciated.

How to become one of our homestay families

It is very simple. 

Please phone (09) 479 1624 to request a homestay application pack or come in to reception at 1 Clyde Rd, Browns Bay to collect one. Then just complete the forms and send them back to us.

 

All family members over 18 years old will be vetted by the police. Two referees (non family) will be contacted. Our homestay coordinator will arrange a visit to your home and your profile will be entered into our database. We will contact you as soon as we have a suitable student to offer you.
