EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

Sailing

Spring is here and it is not so cold. Some of our students enjoyed sailing in Waitemata Habour after school followed by a visit to the nearby Maritime Museum.

Ski Weekend

2 full days of skiing and snowboarding in Whakapapa, one of the biggest ski field in New Zealand. Our students enjoyed the sport and loved the beautiful scenery. For more photos click here.

Tour Season

More than 150 students from Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China, Russia, Tahiti, Chile, Spain, Brazil, France and Germany participated in our very popular programme that normally runs twice a year (Jan-Feb and June-Aug). They study English for 3 hours in the mornings and enjoy fun activities in the afternoons. Click here to view more activities photos

Makkala Group

Another successful visit from Makkala Company. This time there were 41 students aged 11 - 18. This group photo was taken at Rainbows End, one of the most favourites activities. Happy Time!

Tree Planting

A yearly activity. Unique New Zealand join the famous tree planting event organised by the North Shore City Council. We planted lots of native trees at Long Bay Regional Park. After that, we had great BBQ. A very satisfying way to finish a day of hard work!

Wine Tasting

Popular event of all times. Our adult students enjoyed a great selection of quality wine and cheese. Wine Tasting is due to repeat in September due to popular demand!

English Plus Activities

To start the new year we welcomed groups of students from Chile, Brazil, Taiwan, Korea, Argentina, Germany and Tahiti. This photo: Chilean and Brazillian girls at Tasman Horserides in Helensville.

Maori Powhiri

All students and staff started their new year with a traditional Maori 'Powhiri' (welcome). Everyone gathered together to see the welcome, Maori action songs and a poi dance.
